It has been about a year since we made the decision to go on a mission trip with the Church of the Highlands Auburn campus. We were having lunch with the campus pastor and he invited us to go along and visit Israel. I went to Israel in 1970 with my uncle who was a pastor and when I returned, I
promised Dereatha that one day I would take her. Well this is the year that I will fulfill that promise. I also promised her that I would never go on another trip without her, and I haven’t.
